As children of God we believe the Word of God. We believe both the written Word of God and we believe that Word which God speaks to us directly to our mind by HIS Spirit.
The devil may try from time to time to get us to think we don't believe The Word. If that happens, I often just pick up the Bible and begin reading where I left off and it isn't long before my faith in the Word is confirmed again as I think of the Word.
And we overcome all things at all times as we turn to God and believe on HIS Word.
Romans 8
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The love of the Word of God is everything to us.
As a faithful woman loves her husband, we love The Word of God. We believe that which we hear from God. We protect THAT WORD and cherish that which God says to us. For The Word from God is life to us and nothing is greater to us than The Word.
Jesus says: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
The Word is come to us that we might have life and have life more abundantly.
Learn to cling to The Word at all times and do not permit devils to steal The Word from you with their thoughts and reasonings. Do not allow yourself to think on lies from devils.
For the devil is a liar and there is no truth in him.
John 8:43-44 (To the unbelievers Jesus said)
43 Why do ye not understand MY speech? even because ye cannot hear MY word.
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Do not let yourself listen to devils. Cling to what God says with all your heart for it is truly your life!
The devil would kill us if possible.
The Word saves us.
Therefore we do not easily give up The Word or let those devils steal The Word.
The Word is everything to us!
John1
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made.
4 In HIM was life; and the life was the light of men.

At the end of this world, Jesus returns to gather HIS elect who believe in HIM, the truth. And Jesus will destroy those who refused to love the truth.
2 Thessalonians 2
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
(They cast aside scripture and clung to churches of the apostasy where they cast aside scripture. They did not have a love of the truth of the scripture and they perish.)
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

With the heart we believe unto righteousness.
Romans 10
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Love the Holy Scriptures above all people and things and churches.
