* Jesus constantly heard from God when HE was on this earth and so do we hear from God by the Spirit of God.

Joan Boney ... apostle and prophet of Jesus Christ by HIS Spirit according to Ephesians 4:11-12:
And HE (Jesus) gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;  For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

When Jesus walked on the earth, HE constantly heard from God the Father and did the will of God:

John 5:30  Jesus said:   I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear (from God), I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

We, too, are constantly connected to God, as the New Testament Christian, and hear from God and know the will of God by that which HIS Spirit, the Holy Spirit, shows us and tells us to do on this earth.

After the crucifixion and resurrection, the Holy Spirit was given to all who believe.

Jesus told HIS disciples about this although they did not receive the Holy Spirit until Jesus was taken into heaven.

John 7  Jesus said:

37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto ME (the Word), and drink.

38 He that believeth on me (The Word), as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

39 (But this spake HE of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

The Holy Spirit was given to all believers after Jesus was resurrected and was in heaven.

Jesus described the Holy Spirit to HIS disciples before HIS resurrection.

John 14:26    But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 16:13  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

The Holy Spirit is both the comforter and the Spirit of Truth, so we can be helped in times of difficulty and also know the truth about the specific situations of this present life.

We know the will of God by that which the Holy Spirit of God brings to our mind as we deal with problems.

The world would never believe this possible.

I Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Most people in churches today do not have the Spirit of God so they don't believe this either.  They put themselves into their church group by joining the church but without having the Spirit.

Jude said this would happen in the latter days.

Jude vv. 17-19

17  But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;

18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

But Jesus told HIS disciples the Holy Spirit would be given to them after HE ascended.

Acts 1

4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith HE, ye have heard of ME.

5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

9 And when HE had spoken these things, while they beheld, HE was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

God reveals the Word, Jesus, to each believer in the New Testament church and seals that believer with the Holy Spirit on this earth.

Ephesians 1

1 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

4 According as HE hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love:

5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of HIS will,

6 To the praise of the glory of HIS grace, wherein HE hath made us accepted in the beloved.

God made us accepted in the beloved by giving us HIS Spirit, the Holy Spirit, to live in us who believe.

Ephesians 1

7 In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace;

8 Wherein HE hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

9 Having made known unto us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which HE hath purposed in Himself:

10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times HE might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him:

11 In Whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will:

12 That we should be to the praise of His glory, who first trusted in Christ.

13 In Whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in Whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory.

Jesus lives in each believer today by HIS Spirit, the Holy Spirit.

I Corinthians 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

I Corinthians 6:19-20  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

II Corinthians 13:5  Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

***

I Corinthians 2:12-14  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

***

Romans 8:9   Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.

***

Romans 8:14   For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

***

Those not led by the Spirit of God but led by their own minds and flesh are antichrist in the church.

They "fall away" from the doctrines of Christ that are in the New Testament Bible and follow doctrines set up by fleshly men.

We try to share with them the things God has shown us by HIS Spirit and they reject what we speak.

This is the end-time church, antichrist.

Antichrist does not repent.  He will not heed all scripture.  He is wise in his own eyes.  He put himself into the church by his own will, "having not the Spirit."

We cannot turn him.

We must do the following:

Titus 3

10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

The apostle Paul says we who have the Spirit of God have the mind of Christ.

I Corinthians 2

15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?  But we have the mind of Christ.

***

We should go forward with more confidence, not being led astray by antichrist individuals in churches.

For we live in the end times, the last days, when antichrist is rampant in churches.

Jesus returns soon, so we hold fast to those things God has told us by HIS Spirit, doing the Word of God.

The Holy Spirit that dwells in us keeps us by reminding us of all that Jesus has said.

Follow HIM!
