Joan Boney ... apostle and prophet of Jesus Christ by the will of God according to Ephesian 4:11-12.

Sometimes there are unexpected problems which seem impossible to resolve and we can become a little depressed unless we strongly turn to God for help.
In mid-June we bought a new car. We knew we were being led by God to make this change in cars.
I was considering putting new upholstery in front seats of our two old cars to make the cars ride better. I've had left hip broken twice and several other broken bones so it is difficult for me to ride in car. One car was 26 years old. The other 16 years old.
As I thought about reupholstering the cars, I heard a word I was sure was from God: "Or, you could just buy a new car."
That's right! I thought. I had not considered that until I heard this word. The house in Texas sold and I have no debt and could easily buy a new car. And we could put the old cars up for sale.
Also that same night, God gave me a dream where I bought a new car.
So I was assured that was the way to go in this matter.

But the new car had some problems.
We prayed asking God for wisdom and for help.

There were 3 problems:
* The car didn't ride as well as we had wanted. We found the suspension had 3 settings and one of those settings was a "comfort" setting where the car floated in the ride. We changed to this setting and it helped a lot. And a friend told us he always bought new tires and upgraded his tires when he bought a new car. I remember my dad doing that also with cars. We bought Michelin "Premium" tires for the car and this really made a big difference in the ride of the car. "
* Second, the sound system needed additional equipment to cause better reproduction of sound. I knew this could be taken care of because I put amplifier and sound insulation for road noise into my previous car. I scheduled this for the car even before they delivered the car. We added a high level JL amplifier and a subwoofer and better grade speakers and tweeters and insulation to block road noise. It is a very fine system now.
* Third, the air-conditioning, even at the lowest setting is loud. When we took the car to the dealer he did nothing and said it was normal. But we had driven 4 other brands of cars and the a/c on low had very little sound. We knew the sound in the car we had purchased was not normal. I was very troubled over this problem. I called on God to help me. Devils were bringing to my mind all types of negative thoughts,
Also there was another sound problem. We don't know what this is. It is intermittent. The car just starts roaring, like a race car roars. And then the roaring will stop.
We even seriously considered putting this new car up for sale and buying another brand of car.
We drove 4 other brands of cars but liked the one we bought better than these cars, except for the sound problems.
Then I heard a scripture:
I Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
That was the immediate answer for me. I know that is true! And with that I had no more major difficulty, for I knew God would work this out.
Pam had called an air conditioning specialist to see if there is anything he could suggest that would help.
(Maybe we could change the fan or compressor, or even remove this brand of air conditioning and replace it with another brand.)
But for me, the severity of the problem ended when I heard that scripture, for I know it is true that God will not allow more than we can handle to happen to us.

I had a young friend who contracted the terrible disease ALS. He became totally paralyzed. I often thought, "I don't believe I could go through that." Then I would know that God would not allow things to happen to me if I couldn't handle it. And also, in David's case, God made it possible for him to endure until the time he died.
Either way, God is in charge. God always gives us what we need in handling the problem.

Two days later, concerning loud fan on A/C, I began looking on internet to see if others had reported this problem. Various demonstrations concerning solutions to noise of a/c fans were presented. I asked Pam to bring me the car manual. There was information I could not understand but I had a feeling our problem had to do with some type of setting.
We went to the car, started the engine, began pressing buttons, and the loud a/c noise went away.
Now there is no longer a problem.
I believe God was leading me to take these various steps even though I didn't know anything about what I was actually doing.

God gives us "a way to escape" that we may be able to bear it. (I Corinthians 10:13)
But we must take that way to escape.
My cousin, a Church of Christ member, would not take the way to escape.
She told me she did fine during the day but got so lonely at nights. (Her husband died 10 years earlier.)
I knew this problem could be stopped instantly if she would turn to God when the loneliness came upon her and ask God to help her.
I gave her Philippians 4:6 to do:
A week or so later, she wrote to me and said, "I do all right in the day but I get so lonely at night."
By that, I knew she could not be helped for she would not turn to God with the problem and she would not trust God to help her.
I just walked away.
Titus 3:10-11
10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
(Walk away from them when they will not do the scripture. Don't keep trying to share things of God with them. Don't keep trying to teach them. Don't allow them to cast their cares upon you for they sin when they fail to turn to God with their problems. Avoid becoming entangled in their problems.)
II Timothy 3
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
(This would happen in the church groups.)
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
