Sadly, we see televisions programs where unmarried people are in bed with one another, obviously having had sex or about to have sex.

They later are often sorry about this but they think they just made a mistake in becoming involved with that other person through sex.  

But it is not just a mistake.  It is a sin against themselves and against God.  For at the time of sexual intercourse the two become one flesh and the Bible tells us this is a sin unlike all other sins. (Church people need to keep this truth in mind at all times.)

I Corinthians 6  Paul explains:

15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith He, shall be one flesh.

17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
