Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Hebrews 1 ... concerning Jesus ...3 Who being the brightness of HIS (God's) glory, and the express image of HIS (God's) person, and upholding all things by the word of HIS power, when HE had by HIMSELF purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
When we think of all things being upheld by "the word of HIS power", our faith that we will be upheld also by "the word of HIS power" should be helped.
Think of that which we know has been created and upheld by "the word of HIS power."
John 1 ... 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made.
Hebrews 11 ... 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
II Peter 3 ... 1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
How can we not believe that God/Jesus is able by the same word to uphold us as long as we live on this present earth?
Believe this WORD ... looking at the various promises of God in the Bible ... and be upheld to the end by this WORD which will never fail.
