The Word of God: An anchor for our souls

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Hebrews 6 ... 17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast,

When we really understand that it is impossible for God to lie ... then we have a basis for faith and for belief in the Word of God given us.

We then look at the promises in the Bible and have an assurance these promises will happen to us ... the promises become "an anchor" for our soul.

Stop now and begin making a list of those promises of God which you have in your heart.  These are as an anchor ... keeping you steadfast, keeping you in place, keeping you from moving about as a leaf in the wind.

What is it you really believe?

Think on these things.
