💥 God gives the ark of the covenant to the Old Testament People. To us God gives HIS Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us.

 

Deuteronomy 10  (Moses says)

1 At that time the LORD said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee an ark of wood.

2 And I will write on the tables the words that were in the first tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the ark.

3 And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand.

4 And HE wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me.

5 And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as the LORD commanded me.

In the New Covenant, God gives HIS people a new heart and a new Spirit and we follow the Holy Spirit of God and HE leads us and shows us the way of God as we live on this present earth.

God tells Ezekiel the prophet of this new heart and new spirit.

Ezekiel 36  (God says)

23 And I will sanctify MY great name, which was profaned (made secular) among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

(sanctified: God is sanctified in us as we are changed, born again, before them.  They witness the change that has taken place in us as God causes us to be born again today.)

24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put MY spirit within you, and cause you to walk in MY statutes, and ye shall keep MY judgments, and do them.

I Corinthians 3:16  (The apostle Paul says)  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Jesus explains that which the Holy Spirit does for us when HE is given to us after we are born again by God's Spirit.

John 14:26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 16:13  Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

This is the New Testament church:

Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

But the God of the Old Testament is the same God as we follow today in the New Testament.

God the father of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses is the God of the New Testament church.

We are saved today by the blood that was shed by God's son, Jesus Christ, The Word.
