The doctrine of the New Testament church is written out for us in the New Testament Bible.
Some churches set up their own doctrines but really we are one body in Christ, having one faith, one Lord, one Spirit, one God. The New Testament Bible is our doctrine. So continue to read the Holy Scriptures and conform your actions to that Word which is inspired by God in the New Testament Bible.
If any church group teaches opposite to the scripture, I would not stay in that group, knowing it is one of the churches of the end time apostasy, antichrist.
When Jesus returns to gather the people of God, HE will destroy the world and the apostate churches.
2 Thessalonians 2
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

We must love the Word of God above all people and all things.
The Word sent by God means more to us than any thing in our lives for it is truth.

In the last days, there will be much deception on this earth, especially in churches.
Prove your doctrine through both prayer and scripture.
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

In the book of Revelation we have multiple examples of great earthquakes sent by God upon this earth as a part of "the wrath of God."
Do you view the earthquake as "terrible" when it was God who sent the earthquake?
Do you then say the judgment sent by God is wrong ... or terrible?
I would not want to be a part of judging God that way.
Instead we agree with God.
The end times bring many judgments of God as the plagues of God are poured out upon this earth and the apostate churches.
What do we say when we see this?
We say, "God is just and worthy."
