💥 What Jesus says about the end times.

Matthew 24

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in MY name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

(When Russia attacked Ukraine, I was reminded of verse 6:  "See that ye be not troubled".)

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences (Coronavirus of 2020), and earthquakes (Turkey/Syria of 2023), in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

I believe Coronavirus of 2020, war between Russia and Ukraine, and this great earthquake in Turkey/Syria of 2023, are great signs for us that the great tribulation, the return of Jesus, the judgment of God on the world and the apostate churches is upon us.

If these are preludes to the great tribulation described in the Bible, here is what will happen.

The prophet Amos says:

Amos 5

18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

19 As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.

20 Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

(It will be one problem upon another until Jesus returns. Then Jesus will destroy the apostate churches.  God will bring HIS plagues upon the earth.  Jesus will awaken the dead in Christ.  Jesus will send HIS angels to remove the elect of God from off the earth before God destroys this present heaven and earth with fire.)

Make no mistake, we will be troubled by that which is coming even when we belong to God.  Just as it was difficult to see the bodies of the children pulled from the rubble in Turkey this year, it will be hard to see that which is coming upon this earth in our neighborhoods.

Yet we do not disapprove of the judgment God sends.  As the angels rejoice over that which God sends, the elect of God rejoice over the judgment God is sending upon this world.

But some of God judgment will be hard to see.

Revelation 6

12 And I beheld when HE (Jesus) had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of HIM that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

17 For the great day of HIS wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
