💥 Stand fast in the Lord.

 

The "Lord" is The Word.

John 1

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made.

4 In HIM was life; and the life was the light of men.

(The Word is the light of men, showing us the way to live and to go forward on this present earth.)

12 HE was in the world, and the world was made by HIM, and the world knew HIM not.

11 HE came unto HIS own, and HIS own received HIM not.

12 But as many as received HIM, to them gave HE power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on HIS name (The Word):

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

The Word are the scriptures in the Holy Bible.

And The Word is that Word that comes down from heaven by the Holy Spirit and comes directly into our minds to show us the will of God in the issues of this life.

But some ideas that come into our mind are not from the Spirit of God.  Therefore we have to try "the word" to see if it is from God.  For it can be from our own flesh or devils.

James 3

12 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
