Ephesians 6
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Dress in:
* truth: The Word from God.
* righteousness: Doing and saying that which God gives us for then our righteousness is authored by God.
* peace: We must keep ourselves in peace continually by taking all cares and concerns to God in prayer. Philippians 4:6 Be
careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (Discuss all concerns with God in prayer.)
* shield of faith: Surrounding
our mind with faith in the Word of God; establishing ourselves and our
thinking by the Word from God on the issues of this present life.
* helmet of salvation: Knowing
our salvation is in Jesus, The Word, and what HE says and has done.
Keeping the Word of God as a helmet shielding our mind. (Not drunk with
fleshy feelings that have no power.)
* the sword of the Spirit: That which the Holy Spirit has brought to our mind which is truth in the issue, the Word of God.)
* prayer: watching with all perseverance and supplication for all saints

2 Timothy 3 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
We must dress properly with the whole armor of God that we can stand against the wiles of the devil.
We
must be sober, alert, prepared ... not just going out drunken with our
own thoughts or thoughts of others. (Drunk with fleshly feelings that
have no power.)
The Word of God never fails. Dress with the whole armor of God.
It will be pretty serious times when Jesus says this about the end times: And
except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved:
but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. (Mt. 24:22)
