The Holy Spirit of God produces the way of God as we live on this
earth: The fruits produced by the Holy Spirit who lives in us are: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: (Gal. 5:22-23)
The Holy Spirit who is in us searches the heart of God to show us the will of God in the matter at hand.
When we go in the way shown us by the Holy Spirit we produce the fruits of God.
By our fruits we know one another for we have the same Spirit when we are going in the way of God.

The way of the flesh produces evil upon this earth.
Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery,

variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings,
murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of

I Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
Fornication is a sin unlike all other sins. For at the time of sexual intercourse, the two become one flesh.

Ephesians 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
James 4:4 ... Know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Jesus always obeyed God.
Jesus said: "My kingdom is not of this world." John 18:36 ... "if
my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I
should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from
hence."
The saints of God viewed themselves as being strangers and pilgrims on this earth.
Hebrews 11:13-17 These
all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen
them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for HE hath prepared for them a city.

The way of men of this world is opposite from the way of the Spirit of God.
Galatians 5:16 Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
