πŸ’₯ The perilous times in which we live.

The apostle Paul told us there would be perilous times in the last days of this world.  And Paul told us the reason times would be perilous.

2 Timothy 3

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection
(homosexual/lesbians Romans 1:26-27), trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away..

Many people will be without personal integrity.  They really do not care about other people. They do not speak truth but rather they speak those things from which they hope to benefit themselves.  They lie so much that it has become a normal activity to them,

We who appreciate the law of God will be in danger of being depressed over the actions of the disobedient who have no personal honesty nor integrity.

If we brood over what they do, we will feel depressed or even hopeless.

I believe God is our hope and prayer to God is our hope.  Even saying to God such things as
"I can't stand this.  Please deliver me and cause me to rejoice in YOU."

Through prayer we keep our trust in God.

And we must solidly know our kingdom is not of this world.  (Jn. 18:36)

God has prepared for us a new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.

This current world will never be righteous.  It is that new world where the righteous reign.

As we wait to be taken off this earth to the new world, we wait in peace, without spot and blameless.

We will not be doing as this world does but our hope is in God.  And Jesus is our way.  We go the way HE shows us and HE helps us to stay ourselves in Jesus.

Romans 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
