When Jesus returns, be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

It is very important to live in peace and to keep yourself in peace.

There is nothing better than reading the Bible or the blog when you are in a complete state of peace.

It is very difficult to hear from God and to follow the Spirit of God when you are fighting someone or upset with someone or fearful over what you are seeing or hearing.

It is never that we go along with the evil to be in peace for we who are righteous will never be able to be in peace in the midst of evil by approving the evil.

But by taking the troublesome person to God in prayer or by taking the troublesome situation to God in prayer, and by asking God for HIS help and wisdom, we often find God will give us a way of peace even in the midst of trouble.

We must be diligent to settle every trouble by turning to God in prayer and by pouring out our heart to God through prayer.

When we are restored by God in what HE brings us after we pray, then we can be in peace and read the Bible again with a pure heart.

The apostle Peter sets our end-time goal for us in the following scripture:

II Peter 3:10-14    But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

The apostle Paul gave some guideline to Timothy as follows:

I Timothy 4:13    Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

We, who are of God, have been given the Holy Spirit in us to lead us and guide us in the things of God.  The Holy Spirit speaks to us by thoughts brought to our minds.  The Holy Spirit searches the heart of God to show us the will of God in the issue at hand.

And we have the following promise from God.

James 1:5    If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Pam Padgett sent an email yesterday which shows the power of God to help us and to resolve issues of concern in our lives.

Pam says:

Earlier this week a walker was brought to my attention (by the Holy Spirit) when talking with my 86-year-old neighbor, Jim, the morning after he lost his balance and landed on the floor and couldn't get up.

I got the walker out of a corner, unfolded it, and put it near Jim's chair.  He began using the walker.

One concern he had at first about using the walker was that he wouldn't be able to carry anything since he'd have both hands on the walker.  But he quickly said he could put these things in his pockets.

(Jim keeps foods and bottled water in an area of a bathroom where he has a small refrigerator, then carries what he wants to the room where he spends most of his time. )

It came to my mind that Jim needed a way to carry these things.  Somehow putting them in his pockets didn't seem like a good solution.

I prayed about this.

Then I had the thought to look on Amazon for "walker accessories".

There were so many things on Amazon to help people who use walkers ... it was a little overwhelming to me!

But I prayed asking what would work best for Jim.   I ended up ordering a metal basket that fits on the front of the walker.  It came a couple days later and was very easy to put on the walker.

Jim immediately liked it.

Today he told me various things he's been able to put in this basket.  Its been helpful to him throughout the day and makes using the walker easy for him.

I'm very thankful to God for helping me in all of this.   I know the walker and basket helps Jim ... but I am also helped, for I had concerns before praying.

I can't live in peace as we're told to do in 2 Peter 3:14 when I'm concerned about something.

But God has told us to turn to HIM with whatever concerns us.

We depend on God to work in the matter as HE wills, and to show us if we need to do something  ... and this allows us to live in peace in the situation.

Philippians 4:6-7  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Live in peace through turning to God in everything.

Learn to recognize the thoughts that are from God for there are also thoughts from our own desires and thoughts from devils.

Consider James 3.

13-18    Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.  This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
