Those who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Walking after the flesh, following the impulses of the flesh, the emotions, vs. walking after the Spirit

Galatians 5:19-23

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness (defrauding another), lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft (following superstitions), hatred, variance (arguing/debating), emulations (trying to outdo another), wrath (desiring revenge), strife, seditions, heresies,

Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

We learn, as we follow God, to hold back the fleshly desires such as hatred. Our flesh flares up but we learn not to follow that which our flesh is leading us to do. Instead we turn to God in prayer, asking Him to help up.

When we follow our flesh, doing the works prompted by the flesh, we go into condemnation.

Romans 8   Therefore there is no condemnation when we live by the Spirit.

Doing the works of the Spirit, lead to life.
