πŸ’₯ Those who say they are the church and show no love of the Word of God.

Jesus says a sign of the last days is men will come saying "I am Christ" and they will deceive many.

Matthew 24

1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to HIM for to shew HIM the buildings of the temple.

2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

3 And as HE sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto HIM privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in MY name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

This week I spoke with a woman who was raised in a protestant church but showed no real love for the Word of God.  When I told her I always read the scripture to church goers who are committing sin, she replied, "It will do no good for they won't do them."

I declared to her, I would read Bible to them any way.

Later I found her words to be discouraging to me, sort of like the evil men brought back the bad report when they searched out the land and they discouraged the entire congregation with their evil report.

I prayed for God to help me.

And I realized what she said is not true for I have spoken scripture to unsaved persons and have seen them accept the Word of God and even say to me, when I read scripture, "Well ... I guess we'd better not do that again."  (and that person was saved, born again, after she agreed with the scripture and stopped doing that which was contrary to scripture.)

I purposed to "avoid" this woman in the future.

Romans 16:17  (the apostle Paul said)

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

(She could discourage me from speaking the Word of God and thereby destroy the ministry I have in the Lord.  I see such persons as dangerous and have often put them away from me by deliberately avoiding them even when I desire to speak with them.  They are dangerous to the ministry.)

One thing God has taught me is to speak the scripture when I see sin, especially in the church.  Don't just say, "That's a sin."  Speak the entire scripture which shows "that" to be a sin.

If the sin is homosexual/lesbian, speak Romans 1.  26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind (a mind without God's judgment), to do those things which are not convenient;

If the sin is a man marrying a divorced woman, I speak this scripture.

The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

When I see this about to happen, warn the man by speaking the exact scripture on the subject.

Matthew 5:32  (Jesus says)  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

We must not permit anyone to stop us from speaking that which God told us.

My mother had a dream about me.  I came to visit them and I was driving a large, travel type van.  I was outside circling that van, being sure there were no scratches on that van.

I see this as constantly protecting the ministry so that I speak all that God puts in my heart.
