💥 The word preached to them was not mixed with faith by them that heard that word so the gospel could not bear fruit as it did in us.

Hebrews 4

1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into HIS rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

We mix the Word with faith by doing the Word.

Faith without works is dead.

When we believe the Word, we do the Word.

Here are a few words for each of us to begin concentrating upon doing in our lives today:

Colossians 3:15  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Ephesians 4:29-30  Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

(Speak those words brought to your mind by the Holy Spirit when visiting with others.)

Let us try to do these scriptures for the next week every day when talking with other people.

Read these verses each morning and purpose to do them.

Then at the end of each day, look at these verses again, and judge your day?  Did you do these things when speaking with other people?
