My cleaning woman came to me once and said: "Aren't you afraid to read the Bible?" (They told her at the Catholic church that people who read the Bible might get it wrong and they, the priests of the Catholic church, would tell them what to do.)
Pam Padgett was raised Catholic and went to Catholic school as a child.
Pam began reading the Bible and found several things taught in the Catholic Church that were not in the Bible. She began making a list of those things.
A nun attended the same college Pam was attending so Pam went to that nun and told her she had found several things they were teaching in the Catholic church that were not in the Bible. And Pam showed the nun that list. That nun turned totally white.
And that nun said, "This is the reason people like you should not read the Bible."

When I attended protestant churches, I often heard pastors say things that were not in the Bible.
I often went to those pastors and asked them where that which they had said was in the Bible for I could not find that in the Bible.
Amazingly 2 of those pastors told me exactly the same thing when I asked them this: "I can't remember where it is in the Bible."
When I asked them to look it up and let me know where it was in the Bible, both of these pastors said, "All right. It's not in the Bible."

Today many doctrines which are not in the Bible are taught at both Catholic and Protestant churches. This is antichrist.
Paul said before Jesus comes there will be "a falling away" in churches.
God said to me: "The falling away are not people leaving the churches. The falling away are churches leaving the scriptures."
2 Thessalonians 2
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Antichirst comes into the church group when scripture is changed or omitted from that church group.
This is rampant in today's churches. This happens before Jesus returns.
2 Thessalonians 2
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
