We often have a very great desire to approve other people. This desire can lead us to unwisely approve sin, therefore becoming a part of their sin without knowing we are doing such.
There is no such thing as Christmas in the Bible. First, we must understand this. Christmas, and most other celebrations, are something set up by men of this world. Some of us get swept away by these things.
Real Christians often participate in those things set up by men as holidays and are pagan rituals.
If you do this, just beware of yourself and the praise your flesh would give to flesh and blood.
It is a very hard day for many, and many sin without knowing it, because they inwardly want others to be doing good and they end up praising evil.
Try to control your own flesh! Let that which you speak praise God. Praise God for what HE has done in your life. (You will probably be outnumbered by unbelievers at the Christmas dinner and that makes if very difficult to praise God.)
There is really a lot of sin when people get together for there is so much praise of self in words, and God is rarely edified in the sight of man.
