πŸ’₯ Rejoice in the LORD (The Word).

The Word of God comes down to us today by the Holy Spirit of God bringing both scriptures and concepts to our mind so we can know the will of God for us in specific matters pertaining to this life.

We learn to walk in that which the Spirit says rather than to yield to our own flesh doing as our flesh wants to do.

Romans 8:1  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

The flesh often "reacts" with hatred or resentment.

But the Spirit will remind us of scripture showing us not to do that and to take a way of God, forgiving and praying for that person who offended us or was offended by us.

I Corinthians 6

9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers (those who criticize in an abusive or insulting manner), nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Paul reminds us that we were also once like these offenders but God gave us HIS light to walk in and saved us not because of our goodness but because of God's goodness.)

11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name (the Word) of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

So now we do not walk in the fleshly hates and resentments we once did on this earth.  Now we have the Holy Spirit of God to walk in what HE tells us so that we would not be condemned by doing those things our flesh wants to do and the world does.

We keep our flesh crucified (dead) by allowing Christ the Word to rule over our flesh, keeping our flesh as being dead with Christ, The Word.

Galatians 2:20  I am crucified with Christ (The Word): nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.
