Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Psalm 33:8-12 ... Let all the earth fear
the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. 9
For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. 10 The
Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the
devices of the people of none effect. 11 The counsel of the Lord
standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. 12
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath
chosen for his own inheritance.
Prove all things
Pam Padgett ... teacher
Many ideas and thoughts are presented to us as truth. Some come directly to our mind, while others are spoken by other people. Although seeming to be true, many are not based in truth from God.
Paul exhorted us ... Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. (1 Thessalonians 5:21)
Many years ago I worked with a young woman who did not eat meat of any kind. She was very passionate about this, saying it was wrong to kill animals and eat them. When I heard her say these things, they seemed reasonable to me and I thought that surely it must be wrong to kill and eat animals. As I was talking with God about this, however, I was reminded that God commanded the children of Israel to kill, roast, and eat the Passover lamb (Exodus 12:5-8). This proved for me that it was not wrong in the sight of God, and I held fast to this and let go of what the young woman at work had said.
Another example I was reminded of ... I was raised in the Catholic church and attended Catholic school for five years. I thought everything I had been taught was true. But after being born again, I met a friend who read the Bible and told me she also was born again. As we talked, I would sometimes mention something I had been taught in the Catholic church. She didn't argue, but simply asked me "Where is that in the Bible?" By this God started sorting through the various doctrines I had been taught, showing me what was true and what was not true. In this way I was led to prove doctrines, turn from those that were not true, and hold to those that were true.
When Paul and Silas taught in the synagogue in Berea, they proved by the scriptures what Paul and Silas spoke. Many of them believed, holding fast to the truth ...
Acts 17:10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. 12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.
Paul exhorted us to prove "all" things. Whether secular ideas or religious doctrines, we prove them by turning to God. When we are shown truth from God in the matter, often by the Holy Spirit reminding us of scripture, we hold fast to that truth.

Unwise to go into debt
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Recently on Internet, Pam shared the following scripture:
Exodus 16:14 And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground. 15 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the Lord hath given you to eat. 16 This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents. 17 And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less. 18 And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating. .... 35 And the children of Israel did eat manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan.
It was God who led them to go out from Egypt into this wilderness ... It is so comforting to read this and be reassured that when God leads us, God also provides for that which we will need out there in the place God has told us to go.
But if we go out when we are not led by God it is another matter.
This week I received a very disturbing email from a pastor ... He told of the Muslims burning down their church building. His church leaders determined to rebuild their building by a specific date in August. Pastor admitted he was a little troubled because they do not have "good funds" to rebuild and it will cost $300,000 to rebuild. He asked me for prayer and money. I did not pray for them to rebuild nor did I send money. Instead I sent him what I believed to be from Spirit of God which was a message warning him that they are going the wrong way in this plan to rebuild. I could see their strife was against the Muslims and they were out to show the Muslims they would not win out.
This building that was burned was not the church. It was just a building. The church are those individuals who have the Spirit of God.
It is unwise to try to do something when it will cost more money than you have.
When God is leading us, that is just not what happens. When God tells us to do something the way, the money, the plan, everything is there without having to beg other people for money. And if you think God is telling you to do something and you do not have the money to do it, then you'd better try that spirit that represents itself to you as "God" ... for this is just not the way God works.
God put us on the Internet a year ago ... He did it by giving me a dream which caused me to start the "blog". The blog itself costs nothing. But to cause us to be more visible on the blog is another matter. I knew immediately to advertise so we would be more visible. At one point, we had cut back to $5 day in advertising. I prayed about this ... should we stop ads? ... should we do more ads? What should we do? After prayer, everything fell into place to increase the amount of ads we were doing. When we increased ads, daily page views changed from about 40 page views a day to over 300 per day. The increased visibility on Internet allows more people to have the opportunity to find us. As I was increasing the ads, without asking for money, money arrived which gave me a nice cushion for the ad increase for now we are spending between $620-$720 per month for ads. And it is not a burden to do this because God has provided increase in money. I did not ask humans for money. But it came to us at exactly the right time. Amazing.
If I did not have the money, then I wouldn't increase the expense on ads.
It is crazy to attempt to build a church building when you do not have the money to do this. It is not God leading you to do this. It is another spirit.
What they do is think they are building the building "by faith". But this is not faith in God when they have to beg for money to pay for the work. Even the pastor in this story admitted he was concerned.
I told him to read Booklet # 1: Following God by HIS Spirit
But I clearly told him they were going wrong way to try to build this building and going the wrong way when they set a specific date by which this building must be finished. This is not God leading them.
And I shared the following scripture: James 3 ... Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. 14But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. (I know they are striving against the Muslims in this)
17But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
I never heard from this pastor after I responded with this warning. But I know their plan for this building will not work. And I see it being against the way of God.

Only God is to be worshiped
Pam Padgett ... teacher
Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, made a gold image and required that the image be worshiped. Anyone who did not fall down and worship the image would be cast into a fiery furnace ....
Daniel 3:1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. 2 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. 3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. 4 Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, 5 That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: 6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did not fall down and worship the image, some of the Chaldeans told this to king Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar gave them another chance to fall down and worship the image, reminding them that if they didn't do this, they would be cast into a fiery furnace ....
Daniel 3:12 There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. 13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king. 14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up? 15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego responded that God is able to deliver them from the fiery furnace and from the hand of king Nebuchadnezzar if it was HIS will to do so. They would not serve other gods nor worship the image ...
Daniel 3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. 17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
At Nebuchadnezzar's command, the furnace was heated seven times more than usual. Although the furnace was so hot that the mighty men who bound and cast Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego into the furnace were killed, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and another in a form like the Son of God were seen walking in the midst of the fire ...
Daniel 3:19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. 20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. 21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 22 Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. 23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. 25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
Seeing these things, king Nebuchadnezzar acknowledged God, saying that no other God can deliver like this ...
Daniel 3:26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. 27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them. 28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. 29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort. 30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.
By not falling down and worshiping the image, and by the few words they spoke, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego testified that only the true and living God who created all things is to be worshiped. And the existence and power of God could not be denied as HE not only delivered them but kept them from all harm. (They did not even smell of fire!)
While considering this, I was reminded of what Pete told us in the following ...
1 Peter 3:14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; 15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: 16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

Knowing your age on this earth
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Psa. 90:9
70 years is a normal Biblical span of life. To fail to understand this concept often makes a person into a fool who says outrageous boasts and who tries to act other than his or her age.
Another reference to 70 year life span is found in a verse in Isaiah ...
Isaiah 23:15 ... And it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the end of seventy years
There is a terrible thing going on now ... The actress Betty White who is 90 years old, appears in public making sexual statements as if she is 20 years old. It is a terrible shame. I can't stand to look at her.
Recently I heard a British actress, Maggie Smith, interviewed. The man interviewing her asked her if she would marry again. She is now 78. She showed shock and horror on her face as she exclaimed, "NO!" She seemed to know her age on the earth.
I am 75. There is a man who approached me saying we needed to get to know each other. He wanted us to go out dancing. (I mentioned I can hardly walk due to a broken hip and shattered leg.) He then said we could go to movie. I declined. I know my age.
It is a shame when a person fails to know his age and goes about trying to show that he is a young man (or for an aged woman to act as if she is young)

About Easter
Renee Bonfield ... evangelist
Can you imagine while Jesus was suffering and
hanging on the cross people passing by saying "Happy Easter Jesus?"
The word Easter is only mentioned one time in the
Bible. It's in the book of Acts 12:1 Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex
certain of the church. 2And he killed James the brother of John with
the sword. 3And because he saw it pleased the
Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
This is Passover. And when he had apprehended him, he put
him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of
soldiers to keep him, intending after Easter to bring him forth to
the people.
The definition of Easter according to Vines
complete expository dictionary of old and new testament
words is --- Easter in Acts 12:4, King James
Version denotes the Passover. The phrase "after the Passover" signifies after the whole festival was at
an end. The term Easter is not of Christian origin. It is another form of Astarte, one of the titles of the Chaldean goddess, the queen of heaven. The festival of Pasch
held by Christians in post-apostolic times was a
continuation of the Jewish feast, but was not instituted by
Christ,
From this
Pasch the pagan festival of "Easter" was quite distinct and
was introduced into the apostate Western
religion, as part of the attempt to adapt pagan festivals to
Christianity,
Happiness in trusting God
Pam Padgett ... teacher
Proverbs 16:20 He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.
When we trust in the Lord we believe and obey HIS word, led by the Holy Spirit, knowing that if we do this, we will be led in the right and best way. Rather than the stress and pressure of trying to work things out for ourselves, we turn to God and trust HIM to know what we should do and lead us in this way. We rest in HIM, in HIS word brought to us by the Holy Spirit, simply following the way shown.
If we have the Holy Spirit and will do this, we are happy. We are happy as we see God work each thing out for us according to HIS will. We are happy to receive wisdom and guidance from God, marveling in HIS ways and how much better they are than our ways. We are happy when opportunities come for us to tell others of the wonderful things God has done for us.
The ways of God are so much better than our ways, even in finding happiness. The flesh seeks happiness by accumulating things, doing various activities, achieving status among other people. Strangely, all of these things come with pressure to get and do these things.
Happiness from God is not based on what we do, but is based on God ... hearing from God by HIS Spirit, believing HIS word, and going in HIS ways. Ceasing from our own works and entering into HIS rest as we believe and trust in HIM.
Hebrews 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

Power of fixing mind on God

Isaiah 26 ... Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
Acts 6 ... concerning Stephen ... And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people. 9Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen. 10And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake. 11Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against God. 12And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council, 13And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law: 14For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us. 15And all that sat in the council, looking stedfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel.
Stephen then spoke to the group and at one point the words set them on fire and they set about to kill Stephen.
Acts 7 ... Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. 52Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers: 53Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.
54When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. 55But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, 56And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. 57Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, 58And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul. 59And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. 60And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Worshipping God in the Spirit
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Jn. 4 ... The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 20Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. 21Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
After we are born again, we receive the Spirit of God and are sealed by the Spirit of God as earnest for proof of our belonging to God. Eph. 1
By the Spirit of God that is in us we are able to worship God in the Spirit
Recently I found myself feeling exalted because of some secular knowledge which I had acquired. Those around me didn't have this same secular knowledge so that exalted me even more. As I was in the midst of this, I was reminded of a scripture ... Knowledge puffs up ... Charity edifies. I Cor. 8:1 "OH," I said ... and I corrected my way to fit this scripture.
This is what it means to be led by the Spirit ....
It is so wonderful that God pulls us back from our flesh. And each time we heed that spoken by the Spirit of God and go according to that spoken by the Spirit of God we worship God in the Spirit and it is confirmed to us that we belong to God.
Romans 8:14 ... For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Jn. 6:63 ... It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Jn. 4 ... Pleasing God rather than men
Pam Padgett ... teacher
When Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, fought against Jerusalem, God gave the king of Judah and part of the vessels of the house of God into his hands. Nebuchadnezzar caused certain children of Israel to be brought and eventually stand before the him ...
Daniel 1:3 And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes; 4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans. 5 And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.
Daniel, Hananiah (renamed Shadrach), Mishael (renamed Meschach), and Azariah (renamed Abednego) were among those brought. Although being chosen like this can excite the flesh and make a person desire to do well and impress those who had chosen him, Daniel maintained integrity, purposing to not defile himself.
Daniel 1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
As Daniel purposed to not defile himself, God gave him favor with the prince of the eunuchs who allowed them to prove the results of eating pulse instead of the king's meat. ...
Daniel 1:9 Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs. 10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king. 11 Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, 12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink. 13 Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants. 14 So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days. 15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat. 16 Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.
God also gave them knowledge, skill in learning, and wisdom, as well as giving Daniel understanding of visions and dreams, all according to the will and purpose of God, causing them to stand far above others in the sight of the king ..
Daniel 1:17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. 18 Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar. 19 And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king. 20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.
While reading this I thought of times we are faced with opportunities to compromise in order to please and impress others. Daniel maintained integrity and allowed God to work out the situation according to HIS will. In this case, God gave Daniel favor with the prince of the eunuchs and the king. Sometimes we are removed from situations if we maintain integrity and seek to serve only God.
We can safely place our trust in God to work out the situation according to His purpose and for our good if we seek to please Him, led by the Holy Spirit, rather than compromising to please men.

Prosperity is a very simple matter
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
If you are born of the Spirit of God and follow the Spirit of God, you will prosper wherever you go.
Since I was born again in 1975, I have focused on hearing the Spirit of God and doing only that authored by God through HIS Spirit. And prosperity has followed me wherever I go. At one time, hundreds (or thousands) gave money toward this ministry. Today fewer than a dozen people give money. I never have to ask for money. God has arranged for more than 30 years for me to be supported in the works assigned to me by God without my having to ask for money.
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. Psa. 23:1
This is truly my life. The LORD is my shepherd. HE leads me in what to do. HE shows me when to stay still and do nothing. And because the Spirit of the Lord is leading me and I am following HIM instead of doing what I want to do or doing what others want me to do, there is no want! I live in prosperity because of HIM.
But I could have been in want ... if I did my own works and tried to do things "for God" without hearing from the Spirit of God then I would likely been in need.
There was one time, in 1982, in a dream, I had the following instruction: "Don't go ..." I was also shown in that dream that if I did go out I would be in extreme danger. So I cancelled all meetings scheduled for that entire year and stayed home. A woman said to me, "But you have to go out. If you go out they will give money. If you stay home they won't give money for the ministry." But I had heard from God not to go so I said, "I'm not going." And I didn't go. There was less money but there was also less need for money so even in staying home there was prosperity. But above all I was being led by the Spirit of God.
So many people today write to me and tell me of their works and their planned works. Often there will be a long list of works they have planned. I always know what they are doing is not of God. And most of the time they ask for money to pay for their many works. And I do not recall any of these people telling me God told them to do that specific work for which they want me and others to pay. I do not give them money. I do not pray for their works. I know it's not of God but is authored by the mind and what seems good.
I have no plans for future. I just follow the Spirit of God and HE gets me where HE wants me and there is no lack and everything prospers without my having to do anything other than follow HIM. Prosperity (good success) is a by-product of following God.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Jeremiah 9:23-24 ... Thus saith the
Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty
man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: 24 But
let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth
me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and
righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the
Lord.
Proverbs 18:10 ... The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Proverbs 18:10 ... The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Daily loaded with benefits from God
Pam Padgett ... teacher
Psalm 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
Reading this verse caused me to stop and consider some of the many benefits God abundantly gives us every day.
Jesus asked the Father to give us the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, the Spirit of truth to live in us. The Holy Spirit daily helps us in various ways, including leading us, guiding us, teaching us, interceding for us, and bringing us a word from God needed at a specific time.
John 14:16 (Jesus said ..) And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Any time, day or night, we can call on God to help us and He will answer us. By His help we are saved from our enemies, including snares of the devil.
Psalm 18:3 I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
Psalm 91:14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble;
Psalm 121:2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in
from this time forth, and even for evermore.

God knows our needs and supplies what we need.
Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Matthew 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Even when the children of Israel were in the wilderness for 40 years after God delivered them from Egypt, God had a way to daily provide for them ....
Deuteronomy 29:5 And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.

Wisdom is from God. If we lack wisdom and ask of God, we are promised that we will be given wisdom liberally, if we ask in faith ...
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

God's mercy and compassion toward us are new every morning ...
Lamentations 3:22 It is of the Lord 's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
These are some of the many benefits that God gives daily to His children, those who are led by the Spirit of God .... For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.(Romans 8:14).

Psalm 91:14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble;

Prospering
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
II Kings 18:7 ... And the LORD was with him; and he prospered whithersoever he went forth:
The key to this prosperity is as follows.
God is leading him so far as where to go, when to go, what to do. Therefore he follows the Spirit of God and the "Lord is with him" and because of this he prospers wherever he goes.
So many today in church circles seek prosperity and fail to find it.
The key always is hearing from Spirit of God and following him.
You can set up a church and fail to prosper. You can give to the poor and fail to prosper. You can end up a beggar because of your good works which you find you cannot pay for.
But if the work is truly authored by the Spirit of God and not by your own ideas which seem good, then you will prosper when you follow the word given you by the Spirit of God. And you will prosper wherever you go because you will not go unless you are persuaded God has authored the going.
I have so many invitations to go to foreign countries and help train young ministers. I would love to do that. But I believe God has shown me to stay where I am in Lubbock and write these messages. So that is what I do. In all things, you must be led by the Spirit of God and not by your own ideas and not by the good works and not by other men. Only the Spirit of God must lead us. And we remain still until we are persuaded God has shown us something by His Spirit. And neither do we write these messages unless we are stirred up by the Spirit of God for it is the power of God in the work.
Therefore we will prosper wherever we go because God leads us by His Spirit we won't go unless the Spirit leads us to go.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Romans 15:4 ... For whatsoever things
were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through
patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Psalm 68:19 ... Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
Psalm 68:35 ... O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.
Submitting to the will of God
Pam Padgett ... teacher
When John the Baptist's disciples saw people going to Jesus and His disciples to be baptized instead of to John, they told John about this ....
John 3:22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized. 23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized. 24 For John was not yet cast into prison. 25 Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying. 26 And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.
John's answer taught about submitting to the will of God. John sought things of God and submitted himself to the will of God, being called by God to go before Jesus to prepare the way by turning people from their sins and to God ...
John 3:27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. 28 Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.
Rather than being concerned that people were going to Jesus, John rejoiced in this and spoke of being as a friend of the bridegroom (Jesus) and rejoicing with Him ...
John 3:29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. 30 He must increase, but I must decrease.
John also gave the following witness concerning Jesus, that HE is the Son of God and that those who believe in Jesus have eternal life ...
John 3:31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. 32 And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony. 33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. 34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. 35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
The flesh tries to exalt itself. But John the Baptist exalted God by submitting to the will of God, turning people to God, and following what God had called him to do.

A remnant of God through centuries
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Isaiah said ... Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah. Isaiah 1:9
I see the same thing today. Many call themselves Christians but fail to understand the things we speak by the Spirit of God. But there is a remnant today, perhaps a very small remnant, of those who truly have the Spirit of God, and hear the Spirit of God, and follow the Spirit of God, and cling to that spoken by God through HIS Spirit.
That remnant shows itself through the Bible.
King Hezekiah is one example. Hezekiah did that which was right in the sight of God. II Kings 18:3 ... So many of the kings did evil in the sight of God but Hezekiah did right in the sight of God.
And it goes on to tell us what that "right" was ...
He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan. 5He trusted in the LORD God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him. 6For he clave to the LORD, and departed not from following him, but kept his commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses. 7And the LORD was with him; and he prospered whithersoever he went forth: and he rebelled against the king of Assyria, and served him not. 8He smote the Philistines, II Kings 18
I thought of how this is what we who belong to God today do.
We break down images and refuse to worship the images set up by humans.
We trust in that which God speaks by HIS Spirit, knowing the gates of hell will not prevail against the Word revealed by God concerning the issue at hand. Mt. 16
We cling to the Word of God and follow HIM even when others go another direction. Our security is in knowing we belong to God and knowing we have the Spirit of God and having the Spirit of God to guide us. And we refuse to follow other spirits and worship them.
And we also find that God prospers us wherever we go because where we go is authored by God through HIS Spirit.
This is the remnant of God that exists through centuries though it be a very small remnant.
Jesus said there would be few that find the way of life. Mt. 7 Many go in the way of destruction because it seems wise in their own eyes. Following God costs us something. But it is the only thing worthwhile. But I am persuaded few who say they are of God really belong to God today.
And this also fits with following:
Mt. 7 ... Jesus said ... Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Mt. 24 ... Jesus said ... (concerning the last days) ... Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I (Jesus) am Christ; and shall deceive many.
II Tim. 3 ... in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Romans 8:14 ... For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Few today show evidence of being led by the Spirit of God. They are often led by their own wisdom concerning the Bible or by what their church teaches ... but few speak of what God has shown them. They often speak of what they want to do "for God". But what does God want? This is rarely shown by those who speak of their works.
But as in all times, there is a remnant of God today ... those chosen by God ... those who have HIS Spirit ... those who follow HIM by HIS Spirit.
Isaiah the prophet speaks of "a very small remnant."
Isaiah said ... Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah. Isaiah 1:9

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Matthew 24:14 ... And this gospel of the
kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all
nations; and then shall the end come.
Proverbs 16:20 ... He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.
Philippians 3:13-15 ... Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
Psalm 39:4-7 ... Lord, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am. 5 Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah. 6 Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them. 7 And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.

Being ready for the return of Jesus

He who sent John the Baptist to baptize with water also told him that when he saw the Spirit descending and remaining on someone, that person would baptize with the Holy Ghost. John believed what he had been told, and did as he had been sent to do, baptizing with water. Then, when he saw the Spirit descending and staying on Jesus, he testified that Jesus is the Son of God.
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. 30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. 31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. 32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
Although John had been given information about how to identify the one who would baptize with the Holy Ghost, he went about baptizing with water as he had been sent to do, believing that at some point the Son of God would be manifested. He went about doing what he had been told to do as he waited to see what he had been told.
I was reminded that we have been told that Jesus will return. Although we don't know when Jesus will return, we believe that this will happen. And while we wait, we endeavor to get ourselves ready, and keep ourselves ready, for His return. Jesus said: Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. (Matthew 24:44)
Peter exhorted us that our conversation (manner of life) should be holy and according to godliness ... seeking to please God and live according to His will, not seeking to "fit in" and please the world ... and that we should be diligent to be in peace, spotless, and blameless ...
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

God creates; man corrupts
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Hezekiah was a king who did right in the sight of God.
II Kings 18:4 ... He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it:
Moses made the brasen serpent by the direction of God. And when the people who had been bitten by snakes because of their sins looked upon the brasen serpent they lived.
Then later man corrupted the good created by God. So Hezekiah destroyed the brasen serpent to keep it from being worshipped.
I thought of many things corrupted by man when man sees with natural eyes.
The Lord's supper is set up in church groups as an eating of crackers and a drinking of grape juice. And at various churches people think they partake of the Lord's supper when they do this. This is an example of man acting by natural eyes.
But the Lord's supper is not crackers and grape juice. Crackers and grape juice have no power.
The partaking of the Lord's supper is the eating and drinking of the word of God. And when we incorrectly handle the word of God we bring penalty upon ourselves. This is what Paul is speaking of in I Cor. 11.
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come. 27Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
How do you examine yourself? I used to wonder this when they passed crackers and grape juice at church. How do I examine myself before partaking of crackers and grape juice as the Lord's supper?
What this all means is you examine yourself by the Word of God ... and so you eat the Word of God examining yourself by the Word of God as you read the Word of God and as you hear the Word of God and so you correct yourself by the Word of God as you examine yourself by the Word of God. This is partaking of the Lord's supper. It is partaking of the Word of God.
But if you partake of the Word of God incorrectly, failing to use the Word properly in your life, then you bring destruction upon yourself.
29For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
And we judge ourselves by the Word of God as we partake making necessary changes to our lives by that Word.
So we see how man today corrupts this in church groups because man sees by natural eyes rather than by spiritual discernment.
And many other perversions take place in churches today. God sets up proper things but man ends up corrupting and worshipping incorrectly just as they worhipped the brasen serpent incorrectly by burning incense to it.

Visions authored by Satan
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
For decades, people in Catholic churches have marveled when individuals reported seeing a vision of Mary or a vision of Jesus ... Sometimes they make the setting a type of shrine and they visit that setting where the vision occurred.
Do not be deceived by signs, wonders, miracles in the present time.
Jesus said this would happen in the end times, and HE warned us of Satan doing this.
Mt. 24:24 ... For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
II Thess. 2 ... Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
Revelation 16:13 ... And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles,
Jesus warned us about the last days ... Mt. 24:4 ... Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I (Jesus) am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Many will come saying "Jesus is Lord" and because they say that they will deceive many.
Satan appears as "an angel of light" ... and Satan's ministers will come saying "Jesus is Lord", but their works show they do not really have faith in God. They have faith in human flesh as they beg for money to pay for their works. Their works are not authored by the Spirit of God but by Satan, therefore there is always need.
II Cor. 11 ... For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
We will have reports of ministers doing great signs and wonders. Many ministers will come in the name of Jesus and deceive many. People who are desirous of these signs will gravitate toward these things.
Jesus warned us ahead of time and told us "Be not deceived." Mt. 24
And Jesus said ... Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Mt. 24

Antichrist in churches today
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Paul said the day of the Lord would not come before there was a "falling away" and antichrist moved into the church groups. In other words, Jesus Christ will not return until this has happened... antichrist in the church groups...
II Thess 2 ... Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
First: A "falling away ...
Several years ago, God opened my eyes to see this "falling away" and to know what it means.
The falling away in the church was not people leaving the church group.
The falling away was church groups falling away from the word of God and setting up another doctrine to approve man, to please man, so more people would want to come to church.
A few years ago, I attended a dinner in Lubbock. I was seated next to a man who was wearing the biggest cross I have ever seen. I was horrified. This man began speaking immediately, telling that he is the retired pastor from Indiana Baptist Church. Then he began telling of a problem at their church. They keep having such an increase in numbers attending their church they can't get enough seating room for all the people. He said they even built an add on to their building and now it is full of people. He said they didn't know what they were going to do.
I said, "If you would begin telling them the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery about 1/2 of the people would leave and you would have plenty of seating at your church."
He was very shocked.
But I knew they were having the increase in numbers because they were withholding and changing scripture.
Jesus said ... Mt. 5:32 ... But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
3 Forms of Adultery:
- The faithful wife who divorced committed adultery if she remarried
- The husband who divorced the faithful wife was the cause of the adultery
- The man who married her committed adultery
If you speak that message at your church group, many will leave your church group ... or they will drive you out of their church group ... But this is what Jesus said about the matter.
This example is the clearest example to help one to see the great falling away from the scriptures that has taken place in the church groups in our lifetime.
While it is hard to see, we can know that the coming of Jesus draws much closer because of the evil in the church groups.
There are church denominations in the USA today who allow homosexuals to be their ministers. Fornicators are welcome to join many of the church groups. Sin is brought into the congregation and welcomed where there is no correction which would offend the person who is sinning and therefore no shame nor repentance.
All these things are examples of the falling away of the church group from scripture and antichrist reigning over the church group.
Who is antichrist?
People in churches used to cite certain humans they thought were antichrist based on politics.
But all this falling away and antichrist spoken of in II Thess. 2 is to happen in the church, not in the world.
II Thess 2:4 ... (antichrist) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit ... Antichrist was going to sit in the individual humans and make his temple inside that human copying the Holy Spirit ... And those humans were going to boastfully flaunt themselves in the congregations in shameless ways.
Antichrist is not one man. Antichrist is a spirit in the hearts of the humans. It goes in a way opposite to Christ, always opposing the way of God ... and all this in the churches.
II Thess. 2:4 ... Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped;
That is exactly what we see in the church groups when certain scriptures are removed and substitute doctrines set up to approve man in what he wants to do in this life.
The end of the people who remove scripture and the people who participate in the removal of scripture by joining in these congregations:
II Thess. 2 ... because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

God gave me the following dream to show me we cannot sit there among them ...
Poison gas dream: In approximately 1980, God gave me the following dream. There
was a room filled with people and a man was speaking to these people. I
went in and sat down and began listening. Then another man rushed into
the room and said, "Stop ... can't you see. It's too late. It's already begun."
The first man resumed speaking. But I looked out the window to see
what was happening. I was shocked in what I saw. There was a civil
defense warning system on top of a tall pole. A type of poison gas was coming out of the speaker.
The shocking thing was this: The system that was set up to warn us was
being used to gas us to death. And it was coming from our own speakers. In the dream, I looked at the man sitting next
to me. His eyes were open. He had a big smile on his face. But he
was dead! He was a corpse though he was looking directly at the speaker
and seemed to be paying attention. Then I looked at the other people
in the room and they were all dead though they looked alive. And as I
sat there listening to the speaker, I felt myself falling asleep
(dying). I knew it would kill me too if I sat there among them.
