The gates of hell will not stand

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Mt. 16 ... When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist:  some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

God revealed a word of truth to Peter.  Jesus said the gates of hell would not be able to stand against that word revealed by God.  And Jesus explained the church is built upon this word that is revealed by God from heaven.  This is the rock:  The revealed word of God

We who are of God go along in life and a problem surfaces.  We cry out to God.  We wait until God shows us what to do.  When we are persuaded it is God who gave us the plan, we go that way.  This is the revealed word of God on the matter.  We base our faith upon that revealed word, that word revealed to us by the Holy Spirit who searches the heart of God.  (I Cor. 2)  And we believe.  And we know the gates of hell cannot stand against that word God has revealed on the issue at hand.
