In the beginning God created all things by "the Word".
God spoke and it was created
Genesis 1 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And everything came to being from the word and not anything was created otherwise.
If a man is going to build a house, he would have to first gather materials. But God just spoke and the materials appeared. The power to create was the Word. And the power now is the word that God speaks to us.
God spoke and it was done.
John 1
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made.
4 In HIM was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
10 HE was in the world, and the world was made by HIM, and the world knew HIM not.
11 HE came unto HIS own, and HIS own received HIM not.
12 But as many as received HIM, to them gave HE power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on HIS name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
At the creation of the earth and the solar system and man, there was "the Word", who later was born in the form of a man named Jesus.
After he was crucified God raised HIM from the dead and "the Word" sits now at the right hand of God in heaven and intercedes for us.
Matthew 24:35 Jesus says: Heaven and earth shall pass away, but MY words shall not pass away.

2 Peter 3
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

This earth and all things are held in place right now in the solar system by "the Word".
In the days ahead, God will speak and the heavens and earth will be moved.
Isaiah 13:13 God says: Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of HIS fierce anger.
The sin of this world and the apostate churches will cause God's judgment to come upon them and they will move by God's word.
Isaiah 13
10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. (Says God.)

Matthew 24 Jesus says:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And HE (Jesus) shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
The elect of God will then be removed from this earth in their new spiritual bodies and taken into the air to meet Jesus and the elect who have been asleep in Jesus and are now awake.
They will then be taken to the new heaven and new earth which God has created for them.
Revelation 21 (God shows the new heaven and new earth to the apostle John)
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

And we who are born again by God have been raised by God from the dead of this world and now we are dead to this world and alive to God and now we serve God instead of serving the flesh of man and this world.
And God upholds us by "The Word" of HIS power!
Like Jesus, we are now dead to this world and their things but alive to God.
Like Jesus, our kingdom is not of this world.
The world gropes about in the darkness of their minds.
We live in the light of HIS Word and we see what to do by The Word and we see where to go on this earth by HIS light. We do not walk in the darkness of this world for we are alive to God by the Word which HE has spoken to us.
As it is with Joshua, God will never fail us nor forsake us.
Joshua 1:5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
