Podcast: Proverbs 7 / Wisdom

 

 
 
 
Here is a message from God concerning dealing in Wisdom in the iniquity of the end times.

I Corinthians 6  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers (those who speak vile thing), nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Jesus says:

Mt. 24:12-13  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many (for the Word of God) shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Iniquity "shall abound".

Today we are seeing this iniquity of the last days abound.  Men in high places speak things that are untrue and are praised for what they speak by many people.  We are seeing incredible things that would not have been tolerated in times past, even a few years ago the general population would have been horrified to see such things.

This shows us the great increase in the iniquity of today and the lack of integrity in the hearts of many.

It simply show us how close we are to the return of Jesus and the wrath of God that comes in the end of this world.

We must not be swept away by all the evil.  We must not be pulled down by the evil.  We must continue in the joy of the Lord, in the joy of the Word.

In March 2023, Alex Murdaugh, a prominent lawyer from South Carolina, was tried in a court of law accused of murdering his wife and 22 year old son.

I watched some of the trial on CNN.

I was very surprised at my reaction.

I felt great grief over the waste of all the lives.  What could have been a godly family was obviously an ungodly family.  

In earlier times, I would have been outraged over this and would have felt great wrath, wanting to see judgment against Murdaugh.

But as I watched him at court, all I could feel was sorrow over lost lives, not just the murders but the lost life of Murdaugh himself.  He admitted that he lied to his own law clients and stole large sums of money from victims he represented in court, millions of dollars.  He continue to say he did not kill his wife and son.  Nonetheless his family was destroyed.

It gave me no pleasure to witness his fall.

And this surprised me.  God has greatly changed my own heart during the past years.

Luke 9

54 And when HIS disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?

55 But HE (Jesus) turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.

56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them.

I know I once lived in righteous indignation and wanted to see the wicked destroyed.  Now I want them to see their sins and be saved and live godly lives in the word of God.

Romans 12

19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is MINE; I will repay, saith the Lord.

20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Don't we know that we could have been destroyed over our past life?  Instead God caused us to be born again and saved and our sins were washed away and we were forgiven all sins because Jesus paid for our sin with HIS own blood.

We overcome evil this way.

Jesus tells us the days will get so bad toward the end of this world that no flesh would be saved unless the days are shortened ... Matthew 24:21-22  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

We might have righteous indignation over that which we see done by evil men in this world and in the apostate churches, but we must not allow our anger over their deeds to destroy us or cause us to fall away from scriptures and our faith in God.

We must not become depressed or allow evil to steal our joy in the Word of God.

God will judge and HIS judgment will be just.  Live in this knowledge and live in peace and endure to the end by prayer and the word, knowing our days on this earth will be shortened as Jesus said in Matthew 24:22.

But we must not let the evil destroy us!

2 Peter 2:9  The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

πŸ’₯  We are not a friend of this world:  (friend: one who gives aid and support)  We never approve sin.  We never wish them well in their sin.  We show sinners the Bible and hope that God will open their eyes to see their sin and to turn from their sin and be saved as we have been saved!  But we never approve them in the sin.

James 4:4  Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

πŸ’₯  Hatred, variance (debating), wrath, and strife could destroy us in our righteous indignation.  We must not live in these fleshly angers as we witness the sins of this world and the apostate churches.

Galatians 5:19-21  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

We keep our own flesh under control by asking God to help us as we witness those things that are evil and by following the Spirit which produces the fruits of the spirit even as we deal with the evil.

22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance:

We learn to pray:  "God help me and please don't let me say that or do that."  (for our own flesh will try to get us to say and do things that are evil against the evil,)

Romans 8:1  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

If we walk after the ideas of our own flesh we can be condemned in our acts.

If we follow the Spirit, that which HE shows us to do in the situation will produce the fruits of the Spirit:   love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance:

We overcome the evil with the good God shows us by HIS Spirit, doing as God shows us to do, saying that which God shows us to say, by HIS Spirit Who dwells in us.

For HE, the Holy Spirit will bring to mind what we are to say and what we are to do in the time of trouble.  (Jn. 14:26 & Jn. 16:13)

Example:  The radio station manager in 1982 in Seattle was waiting outside the meeting room and as I approached the door, he said to me:  "Joan ... you have many wonderful messages.  Just speak those messages.  If you continue to speak these judgment messages, I don't know what is going to happen to you.  We might have to put you off the air."

The Holy Spirit gave me this response instantly:  "George ... if I don't speak the message that I believe to be from God, then I don't have a message and I may as well be off the air."

Depart from the evil but do not allow yourself to be destroyed by righteous indignation and fury and wrath and hatred and strife.

Commit yourself to God in prayer and ask HIM to help you.

Psalm 51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

II Corinthians 6

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean; and I will receive you,

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,

15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.

16 I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt.

17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.

18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.

19 For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey:

20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.

21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.

22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;

23 Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.

24 Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.

25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.

26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.

27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

It will get much worse in the days ahead on this earth.

No wonder Jesus said:  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.  (Mt. 24:21-22)

We must learn to operate in God's wisdom, obeying the Holy Scriptures.

Joshua 1:8  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Please keep this writing and all these concepts and scriptures before you and meditate on these things and be sure you are making proper adjustments to your life.
