Colossians 3:1-4 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in glory.

How quickly all those things vanish which we desire on this earth. They can seem so important to us but when we get them how fast they go dim!

As we draw closer in age to our own physical death, those things we often held so dear on this earth often diminish greatly and become as a passing image, hardly recalled.
And often we see little matters on this present earth.
So what does matter?
The Word of God matters.
Even when I am with a person of this world, I am thinking of God, of things of God.
The Word of God is as a blood transfusion to us, giving us life.
