πŸ’₯ When depression tries to come to you.

Of course the first thing would be to turn to God in prayer asking for His help.

πŸ’₯ What is the problem?

This you must settle with God in prayer.

πŸ’₯  After you have worked through each point that was pulling you down, it is often good to do something else like cooking, cleaning, yard work ...

πŸ’₯  Then reading spiritual things ...

Yesterday I read the entire book of one of the "Life in Christ" series books.  There is so much scripture in those little books that it was nice to read.  I felt settled and peaceful.

I have no doubt that you might find something in the book that you need to stop and do.  But if you find you already do all those things in your life, just comfort yourself by reading even when you already know that scripture.

We are printing on blog daily one chapter each day from New Book, "Living in peace".  (There are 12 chapters in that book. So for 12 days we will present one chapter a day.)

If God gives me an additional message for you, I will also write that as a separate blog message.

Repetition is good for us.  Paul said:  I Cor.13:1  This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.  (Paul repeated his messages knowing it often takes more than one hearing for us to actually do the message.)

So long as the message is godly, it is good for us to read that message more than once.  I think you will find those "Live in Christ" books edifying no matter how many time you read that message for it is Bible.

(Humans often go about looking for some new things when they fail to do the old thing.)

Acts 17:21( For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.)

Therefore they were "religious" but not really spiritual.

We get the word of God into our heart by doing that word... over and over.

I feel God has assigned me the role of helping you to prepare for what is to come in days ahead which have many difficulties... enduring problems without depression through Christ the Word.
