3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

6 Who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Comments by Joan Boney:  God has really given me an heart to do this thing.  And it is what the apostle Paul tells us to do in the Bible.
 
I've never been a political person.  Until this 2024 election, I didn't realize individuals were wanting the government to provide for them.  But I saw this year that so often that is the case.
 
I want my provision to come from God as HE sets up my days and shows me how to live.
 
Philippians 4:19   But my God shall supply all your need according to HIS riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Usually God brings to me the direction of change I need to make in my life even before there is a need, so when the need comes I've already made an adjustment to my life so there is no need.

But I do want to go forward in a godly way in so much as I can see what is a godly way.
 
I know the will of God is shown in the Bible.  I know that as I conform my thinking to Bible and live in those instructions given in Bible, I go in godliness.  And I do belong to God, being born again and having been given by God a new heart and a new Spirit, the Holy Spirit, Who leads me and guides me in the will of God.
 
I want to be godly as I go forward on this earth, conforming to New Testament scripture and that shown me by God by HIS Holy Spirit.

John 14:26  (Jesus says)  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.  

John 16:13-14  Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

Jesus says: HE shall glorify ME: for HE shall receive of MINE, and shall shew it unto you.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning HIS promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
 
And don't we see that the time draws near for the return of Jesus as the wickedness of this world increases.

14 Blessed are they that do HIS commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
