Luke 10
40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
Mary had chosen to sit at Jesus feet and hear what Jesus had to say.

Comments by Joan Boney:
About a month ago, one of our new neighbors, came to our house and Pam brought him in to my room to meet me.
I shared things of God with him as they were brought to my mind by the Holy Spirit.
This is the last time I have heard from him. He knew I was truly of God. I told him many things which only God could have told me. He knew me to be a Holy person of God. He seemed greatly edified in things of God by what I told him.
His actions show the truth. (I will avoid him in going forth.)
The time is short. We do not have time to waste it on deceivers.

The sower soweth the word:
Mark 4:7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
16 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.
18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

The most important thing in the world to us should be hearing the word of God so we can do the word of God and be edified in ways of God.
The Holy Spirit brings forth miracles from God through people of God. We should have our goal to put ourselves where we can hear what God says through such people.

But is our earthly project more important to us?
π₯π₯π₯
More and more in recent days, I avoid earthly projects. With earthly project I have to make many worldly decisions. I wear myself out. So I avoid them knowing the fruits from these will not be fruits that edify the church and myself.
They seem greatly important?
But only one thing is needful. I want to choose that "good" thing as Mary did.
