πŸ’₯ They appear as Christians, but actually they are trouble.

God warned me about a new neighbor whose parents were missionaries.

You'd think he would be a Christian that you could enjoy.

But as I reviewed some of the things he said to me, I saw opposite.

Sure enough:  Yesterday, he left a phone message asking us if we would set up a fund raiser on our Podcast for a pastor friend he has in Dubai.  Pam answered saying we don't do fund raising.  She wanted to explain further to him but God stopped her from doing that.

I asked God if I should respond.  I also wanted to explain.  God showed me that if I did, I would be pulled away from peace and drawn into strife.

I didn't respond and went on with the work I had been doing proof reading tomorrow's blog and checking the writings to see that they edify the church which is my assignment from God.

Psalm 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

When we are a minister called by God doing the assignment given to us by God, then God provides for us and shows us what to do and there is no want.

Most "ministers" put themselves into the ministry without the call of God.  They just copy other men who are ministers, often doing works which require money and many of these "ministers" become extortioners, wringing money out of church goers for their works, making them feel guilty if they fail to give.

I Corinthians 5:11  (Paul says)  But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

A minister does have a right to live off the gospel (I Cor. 9:14) ... but not to extort money from the congregation by making them think salvation depends on their giving.

I've witnessed many ministers I believe to be extortioners as they ask the church to give to themselves.

Paul says to put them away from us, don't "eat" with them, don't keep company with them if we perceive them to be "a fornicator, covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner."

v. 13  ...  Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

The neighbor said this "pastor" is on the verge of being evicted.

If I were in financial difficulty, I would ask God what I should do.  I would then hope to follow God. My experience is God would lead me, I would do what HE said, and would no longer be on verge of being evicted.  I've seen God make changes in the direction I am going even before I need to make changes.

But many "ministers" look for humans as their avenue of support or rescue.

I've received many emails from humans asking for money while identifying themselves as pastors.  To one "pastor" I told him to do as Paul did and get a secular job and support his wife and child.

He did not continue to write to me, so I assumed he did not do what I told him.

About 2 years later he sent me another email saying an earthquake struck his village and the housing provided by the church group where he lived was destroyed.  He asked for money again.  I did not communicate with him.  I don't have any evidence of him having been called by God for the work of the ministry and he went against all my previous counsel.

Do you have any evidence of my having been called by God and set into the ministry by God?

* January 10, 1980 ... dream ... What I believe to have been an angel of the Lord said 3 Words to me as I was sleeping in the night ... Hartford, Seattle, KWJS

I found KWJS to be a Christian type radio station.  I asked God, "Are YOU telling me to go on radio?"  God confirmed this to me in several ways. I sent an audition tape as the radio manager said to do and I was on KWJS exhorting the church within about 5 days.  Within a year I was on radio from NYC to Seattle ... remember the Word that came to me on January 10, 1980,  Hartford, Seattle, KWJS ... all fulfilled within a year.

* 2012 ... Dream ... "a nice little voice" describing blog and showing me to start a blog. (cost no money at all to publish on blog all over the world.) complete freedom, no censorship ... indeed a "nice little voice" ... a million-seven hundred thousand downloads to date ...

* 2015 ... began to write ministry books on Amazon and entered their "free" book program where books were sent upon request all over this world.  Cost no money at all to publish and they even paid us a small royalty for sale of each book.  (Still publishing on Amazon today.)

* dream in 2020 showing me to begin Podcasts ... Cost $100 per year to Podcast host.  Extra $100 per year for Classical Music host ... Fighting devils with classical music as Saul was helped when David played skillfully on harp and devil fled from Saul.  I Sam. 16

All works authored by God by dreams and words from Holy Spirit.

Often when I ask a "minister" how God showed him to do that ministry ... he cannot tell me.  Often it was just his desire.

Two young people, a married couple, at Word of Faith church when I was going there, quit their secular jobs to go to Israel to "minister".  Within a week, they were back at church ... What happened?

They told us they got to Israel and found they could not speak the language and couldn't communicate so they returned to USA.

This is obvious to me that God didn't tell them to go to Israel to "minister."  When God does send us, it works.

Very many young people have "idealistic" thoughts about what they will do.

The apostle Paul says:

Prove all things; hold that which is good.  (I Thess. 5:21)

Spirits bring thoughts (ideas) to our minds.  Sometimes these are from God.  Other times they are from devils who want to destroy us.  Sometimes these ideas are from our own desires.

The apostle John warns us:

I John 4

1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God:
Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3 And every spirit
that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

To try the spirit, I just ask that spirit that brought that thought to me, "Do you confess Jesus Christ is come in the flesh."

That spirit then says to my mind, "Yes" or "No".

(This is what John says to do.)
