Cathy Varner, member of the body of Christ shared the following:

Today my husband Joe and I were out walking dogs, our own and the dog of one of our sons. We had also stopped at the home of one of our other sons, and taken the dogs to two different places. On one of the hikes with the dogs, my husband fell due to wet slippery leaves going up a hill. This was off the main trail. It wasn’t until we were going to head back home that Joe realized he didn’t have his cell phone.

He looked in the car and I looked to see if I had mistakenly put it in my purse. We contacted my son and his wife to see if he had left it at their house. It hadn’t shown up.

So I figured we’d have to retrace our steps, which would be no small task, especially because one of the places we’d been was a large park with no specific trails, just a large grassy area with trees.

I was praying, asking God to help us find it, to please lead us to the right place, so we wouldn’t be doing a bunch of unnecessary walking at any place the phone wasn’t.  Joe also prayed. Driving along back, we passed one of the parks we’d been to. I would’ve thought we should check there first, but Joe wanted to go to the place he’d fallen, thinking it may have fallen out of his pocket, although he said when he’d got up he checked to see if anything had fallen out and hadn’t seen it then.

I wanted to retrace all our steps, walking again the trail we’d taken earlier. Instead, we went directly to the area where he thought he’d fallen, but didn’t see anything. We kept looking and further to the left I could see the leaves were messed up and ground showing a little, like maybe that was the place.  I looked and saw something sticking a little out from under the leaves. I was so happy that it was indeed Joe’s phone.

It was so special and encouraging to see that God had answered our prayers, exactly everything I had asked for.
