πŸ’₯ Genesis 1 God creates things that will sustain human life and make it better for humans.

Genesis 1

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

(It would be better for humans to have light than darkness so God added light to HIS creation.)

And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

(Light and darkness are divided and do not exist together at the same time. When the light comes on, the darkness flees.  For they cannot co-exist.)

At the end of the world God sends His Great Tribulation upon this earth as judgment upon the evil doers.  There are 14 plagues and one of the plagues takes away light and returns the earth to darkness.

Revelation 8:12   And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

God increases the amount of darkness by 1/3.

This will greatly affect humans negatively.  (Sort of like the way we have Daylight Savings in USA where everything falls back by changing our clocks one hour and instead of getting dark at around 9 PM, it gets dark around 4:30 PM in November.)  The rotation of the earth in the solar system in it's position as placed by God makes this happen.

But this change which God will make is apparently a permanent change ... The sun will not shine.  The moon will not give light.  The stars will fall from heaven.

The darkness will really cause a person to suffer, sort of like dark cloudy days get to the nerves of humans. (Also there will likely be the problem in the production of food with the darkness.)  It will be a great torment to humans over a duration of continual darkness.

Jesus says:  Mt. 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

The powers of heaven will have been shaken.  Jesus tells about this in Matthew 24.

Matthew 24:29-31

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

(The movement of the earth in the solar system will change everything, especially causing a change in the amount of light vs. darkness upon this earth.)

You can even compare this to the way the churches changed to darkness by removing scripture ... antichrist is darkness and when scriptures were changed or discarded completely from the churches, antichrist moved in and darkness spread through the congregation like leaven in meal.

After the great tribulation and the power of the earth is shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Revelation 16

10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Some of the elect of God will be on this earth during at least part of The Great Tribulation.  (Mt. 24:22)

We'd better practice now keeping our own selves calm and satisfied.  It calms me to re-read any one of the 23 e-books of the "Life in Christ" series, because each book is full of scripture and godly examples of living on this present earth.

Also I am reading through the entire Bible again.  I feel this will be helpful to me and to other Christians as I write exhortations concerning the end times in which we are now living.
