πŸ’’ Day # 1: I Timothy 2:1 Meditating and Doing the Word of God.

1 Timothy 2

1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Comment by Joan Boney:

Today, I ask you to pray for Mr. Biden.  He will continue to be President of the United States until the new President is sworn into office in January, 2025.

If you are a Republican, you may have learned to hate Democrats.  If Democrat you probably have learned to hate Republicans.

So first you might need to pray over yourself if you have participated in politics by voting, for you might need help from God before you can pray, but you can begin today by asking God to forgive you and cleanse you of all unrighteousness and to enable you to do what Paul said in I Timothy 1-2.

When I am meditating on a scripture in order to do that scripture, it often takes me several times of reading that scripture throughout the day in order to do what that scripture says to do.

So I recommend you make a copy of I Timothy 2:1-5

I do not vote for either party in USA.  But I do try to remember to pray for those in authority for God says to do this through inspired Word of the Holy Bible.  Therefore, I consider each of us who are Christian to have doing the Holy Scriptures as our goal, conforming ourselves to the Holy Bible.

Once you begin to pray, it will hopefully break up the anger, if such is in you.

This is a time none of us should dwell on anger.

Concerning Praying for Mr. Biden.  My most recent prayer for him is that he would be able to get over being angry with the Democratic leaders who forced him out of office:   "Let not the sun go down upon your wrath."  (Ephesians 4:26)

James 3

9  Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.

10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?

12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation
(manner of life) his works with meekness of wisdom.

14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

I have often prayed for Mr. Biden to be able to get off the plane without falling and also prayed for Mr. Biden to get to the microphone without falling.

When I meditate on a scripture, I make a copy of that scripture and carry that scripture in my pocket so I can look at it several times daily and think on what each verse is telling me.  I look up key words in dictionary and allow God to expand my understanding of those words.  Sometimes I do this daily for several days.  I feel certain each of us need to pray for those in authority many times because of all the trouble going on around the world.

I know the end eventually comes but I'd rather not be here when it does.

Instead of complaining, could we just pray?
