π’ Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
Comments by Joan Boney: One of the most important things for us to do is to live in peace as we wait for the return of Jesus. Living in peace continually means being led by peace.
Stop signs: We might plan something for the next day but when the next day comes we don't have peace about doing that which we planned. If this is the case, stop, begin praying. If you are still troubled. STOP. Don't go through God's stop sign. You might need to back out of the entire project.

Some scriptures concerning "peace".
James 3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
Jeremiah 29:7 And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.
2 Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Matthew 10:34 (Jesus says) Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
(When the Word comes to an individual it often divides you from friends and family because Jesus speaks to an individual but might not speak the same thing to the other person.)
π’ Here is an example of that:
Genesis 12:13 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

Comments by Joan Boney:
In 1982, God gave me a Word through a dream as follows: "Don't go until you see Exodus 15." I was on radio at that time and traveled from city to city having meetings for the radio audience in various cities.
Immediately I cancelled all meetings for that entire year.
When she heard of this, a woman in our church group said: "Joan you can't do this. If you go out and speak they will give money. If you don't go, they won't give money."
I replied, "God said 'Don't go.' I'm not going."
I didn't go.
π’ Another example: I fell at my house in Texas in 2018. As the ambulance workers rolled me past the front door, I heard this word from God. "You'll never see this house again." From the hospital, I contacted a realtor and put my house up for sale.
One of our church members said, "Joan, I don't see how you can do this." I replied: "God told me I'd never see this house again, and because of that word from God I put the house up for sale."
God arranged for me to move into the home of Pam Padgett, one of our church members in Colorado.
My house in Texas sold 1 1/2 years later.

I suggest you copy each of the scriptures on this writing and carry this in your pocket and read them throughout the day and meditate on them day and night do those things which make for peace in your life today.
God leads us by giving us peace and if we don't have peace abought something, don't go forward until you do have peace. Something in the plan is wrong. Pray for wisdom.
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
James 3
Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
