πŸ’’ Meditating in Bible Scriptures means thinking deeply on a verse of scripture to give you power to do that instructiion in your daily life.

The power of God is released into our lives as we meditate on single verses of scripture in order to do them in our daily life.

Romans 14:19  Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

Example: August, 2024

Pam Padgett was having some thyroid trouble and they were treating her with pills. Her doctor found some nodules and wanted her to have a biopsy done.  She agreed and the doctor had a hospital to call her to schedule an "out patient" procedure at the hospital.

When the hospital called her to schedule the date, Pam said, "She wasn't ready yet."

As Pam considered why she wasn't ready, she realized they were calling from a Catholic hospital and Pam did not want to go to a Catholic hospital.  She had "no peace".  She said she didn't mind the test as the doctor explained it, but she knew they would have crosses and images.  She didn't want to experience this.

She decided to ask doctor to set up the tests at Memorial hospital instead, and then she had "peace" about taking the tests.

The Catholic Hospital might be a very good hospital but for those of us who see the Catholic church as a false religion with many pagan traditions not prescribed in the Bible, we would not want that experience when there were other options, for the pagan symbols would trouble us.

It is very important to explore why you do not have peace about doing something when you do not have peace.  Pray asking God for Wisdom.

James 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
