God says to Jeremiah the prophet:
Jeremiah 1:19 And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.
Prophets deliver the Word of God and Way of God. It is not the same as the way of men of this world. So they fight us, when they reject the way of God. But really it is God they are fighting because it is HIS Word we give them.
