This morning when I took my dog out l was looking around me at how lush and beautiful the grass is now and I remembered that my husband had mowed it yesterday. It is a rather large area to mow but he completed it. Then I thought about him driving himself to a couple of appointments in town this morning before I even woke up.
And these things filled me with gratitude for his recovery from his stroke last year. There was a time when, for almost a year, he was not able to do either of these things(driving and mowing). And I am so grateful to God for his recovery.
As I was looking around outdoors I thought about how much we like living in this house in this location. And I remembered how God gave me dreams and information showing me almost the exact location we should move to and the exact house. And I remembered how helpful it was to be given these things.
After I came back indoors, I was trying to write an email using an app. that was giving me a lot of trouble and I was becoming frustrated and angry over this and found myself yelling at the iPad and the app.
I knew I had to get myself under control so I stopped and turned to God, thanking Him for these devices and apps we have today which really do make communication so much faster and easier than it used to be. And I thanked Him for the money He has provided so I could have these to use.
After doing this, I felt so much calmer and better. Then I asked Him to please show me how to do what I needed to do with my email and app. and He showed me a way to do this which was easier than what I was trying to do.
I wasn’t planning on writing this email but later, after I came back inside, I heard…Give thanks to God for all things, so that prompted me to write this. And I certainly was helped by hearing and doing this scripture.
