💥 Born again: A new creature, created by God in Christ.

 

Colossians 3:1-4

1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

(We are dead to this world and alive to God.  We no longer serve ourselves or sins.  Now we serve God.  So as good servants to God we turn to God daily asking God what HE would have us to do this day, seeking the will of God as we live on this present earth.)

2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

(The world can no longer see us for we are now dead to this world and alive to God.  Our life is hid in Christ.  They see this world and not things of God therefore they cannot see us either.  As we view them, they seem strange to us.)

4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with HIM in glory.

We are dead to sin and alive to God!
