* We must not follow thoughts brought by devils. If we follow devils, we will destroy ourselves.

Comments by Joan Boney:

Spirits bring thoughts to our minds.

God speaks to us by HIS Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus.

The devil also brings thoughts to our mind, often to make us fearful and to torment us and to pull us away from the assignment given us by God and to cause us to doubt God.

The apostle John said:

I John 4:1   Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God:

We can try the spirit by prayer, by asking God if that thought was from HIM.

Or if we have faith do to so, we can just say, after the thought comes, "Do you confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh?"  and we will likely hear, "Yes" or "No".

I John 4

1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

If fear comes to us through a thought, that is likely a devil behind that thought.

John 10:10  Jesus says:  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Galatians 5

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance:
