Psalm 111:10

Our goal should be to do that which is right in the sight of God.
As we keep our hearts good, and speak those things which God brings to our mind by HIS Spirit, the works of God will be done as we speak.
If the listener to us is doing evil he will hate the words we speak. But if he repents from the evil, he will be saved. And God will give him a good heart.
But first we keep our heart good ... not having a bone to pick, for if we have that in our heart we will likely speak evil even when we think it to be good.
We must not have in our heart the desire to set that other person straight. Instead we pray over offenses and grievances, freeing ourselves and making our own way straight.
And we pray as David prayed over our own heart!
Psalm 51:10-12
11 Cast me not away from THY presence; and take not THY Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of THY salvation; and uphold me with THY free spirit.
