* There is no example of Jesus coming to earth and appearing to anyone in the form of a human after HE was taken into heaven.

(Joan Boney: apostle and prophet of Jesus Christ according to Ephesians 2:11-12.)

***

John 1:1-2   In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.

14
  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (in the form of a man named Jesus).

***

After the crucifixion, Jesus appeared on this earth for 40 days as a man.  More than 500 people saw Jesus in the form of a man.

But then after Jesus was removed from this earth and taken into heaven, HE appeared to us as a spirit, communicating with us by His Word.

Acts 1:8-11

8 Jesus says:  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto ME both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

9 And when HE (Jesus) had spoken these things, while they beheld, HE was taken up; and a cloud received HIM out of their sight.

10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as HE went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;  11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

***

Never again did Jesus appear in the form of a human on this earth.

For to do so would put Jesus in the flesh of man which is subject to physical and emotional pains and Jesus suffered once for man and Jesus will not be crucified a second time for man.

All things now are done by Jesus by HIS Word.

***

In the end time, Jesus says there will be false Christs and false prophets.

Some of these will appear in secret chambers (bedrooms).

Matthew 24

23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25 Behold, I have told you before.

26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, HE is in the desert; go not forth: behold, HE is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

(If anyone comes saying, "I saw Jesus in my bedroom,"  believe it not!)

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

(Everyone will see HIM.)

***

So if a spirit appears to you saying that "he" is Jesus ... believe it not.

This will be one of those "false Christs" which Jesus speaks of in Matthew 24.

***

All believers have Jesus living in them, and Jesus (The Word) brings "The Word" to our minds to teach us and guide us and show us things to come, and we follow "The Word".

II Corinthians 13:5

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Now Jesus "appears" to us in the form of "The Word" which HE brings to our minds through the Holy Spirit of Jesus who lives in each of us who believe in Him.

***

Jesus, The Word, is a Spirit who was made in the form of a man of flesh for a very short period of time so as flesh HE could suffer and die for the sins of the flesh of man.  As a Spirit, HE could not have done that.  HE had to come in the flesh to die for us because Spirits do not die.

So we have:

* The Word

* Then Jesus, a human, a man

* Then The Word

***

We greatly benefit by "The Word which comes to us while we live on this present earth.

John 14:26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 16:13  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

II Corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

I Corinthians 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

I Corinthians 6:19  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

***

Angels come in the form of humans though they are spirits.  And one of their jobs is to deliver messages from God to us

Jesus does not come to us now on this earth in the form of a human body. For Jesus suffered once in the flesh for us and will not suffer again as a human.

Now Jesus is a Spirit, "The Word."

The Word is with us constantly, but not in the form of a human being, because HE is a Spirit, The Word.

***

Jesus says:

John 4:24  God is a Spirit: and they that worship HIM must worship HIM in spirit and in truth.

A great many church people today try to worship Jesus in fleshly ways by things they can see with their natural eyes.

We must not do that.
