* The religious people always tried to stop the prophets of God from speaking.

Joan Boney ... apostle and prophet of Jesus Christ

God sends HIS words and HIS judgments to the church by HIS prophets.

But many of the people only want to hear what they consider to be "good" things.

However righteousness and salvation come through judgment.

When God reveals to us our sin by HIS Holy Spirit and we repent and turn from that sin and turn to God we are saved.

But the people want to be praised and they want to continue in sin the vanities of their own minds.

Prophets shake up the church people to whom the prophets are sent, for prophets are sent to the church.

In the 1980's I was on radio in USA.  God had spoken to me these words by HIS Spirit.

"For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God:"

I knew that was a scripture.  I looked it up.

I Peter 4:17   For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

I didn't know what it meant.

But a few days later, God brought to my attention sins being committed by several big-time radio/television preachers, among which were Jim Bakker and Jimmy Swaggart.

To Jim Bakker, I sent a warning, on cassette tape, concerning adultery.  (That was in 1982.)

The letterhead upon which I wrote was "Jesus Ministries".  I identified myself to Jim Bakker as a prophet of Jesus Christ and I told him God was having me send this message to him.

I received a letter back signed by Jim Bakker, as follows:

" Dear Jesus:  Thank you for your inspirational message.  Jesus, I want you to know Tammy Faye and I prayed for you today." Jim Bakker

(It was obvious Jim Bakker never heard the message.)

A few years later, it was disclosed to all that Jim Bakker was committing adultery with a church secretary, Jessica Hann who used this event to propel herself into Playboy Magazine.

A virtual cesspool of horrible evils came forth as a result of that which was being done by Jim Bakker.

The things done are things truly godly people would find unthinkable in the church.

It is certainly blasphemy against God for anyone naming Jesus as Lord to live in sins of this present world.

Romans 6:3-4   Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death?   Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

We are truly new creations after we are born again and after God has given us His Holy Spirit to live in us.

II Corinthians 5:17   Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

We are totally changed from that person we once were!  While we served our own selves before, now we want to know things of God and we want to please God.

But some people depart from God and return to evil.

Jesus says:  Matthew 24:12   And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Some are on fire at first but grow cold to things of God and to ways of godliness.

Matthew 24:13  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Matthew 23

25  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.

26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

Jim Bakker's letter to "Jesus" was filled with hypocrisy.

And there were many other sins as a result of Jim Bakker's chosen way of life.

Hebrews 10

23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;)

24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

26  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

27  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

28  He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

29  Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

30 For we know Him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto ME, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge His people.

31  It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

II Peter 2

1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

(As they do various sins they cause the way of truth to be evil spoken of by others who delight in sins.)

3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Hebrews 6

4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame.

Jimmy Swaggart was an evangelist who had an ability in performing of country western music.

His advertising agent told me this story:  Swaggart grew tired of speaking to small groups of people so he came to the agency for help.

The agency told Swaggart to stop preaching so much and to begin putting more country western music performances into his meetings.  He did that and crowds grew into the thousands.

The message I had for Jimmy Swaggart was to stop entertaining the church people and to return to preaching.

***

When I could not get these messages to Baker and Swaggart, I began speaking these messages on my own radio broadcasts, telling of the sin and naming the ministers by name on radio.  Then the message reached them.

Hate mail poured in to me from their followers.

The radio station manager in Seattle said to me:  "Joan, you have many good messages.  Just speak those messages.  If you continue to speak these judgment messages, I don't know what is going to happen to you.  We might have to put you off the air."

I replied:  "George ... if I don't speak the message that I believe to be from God, then I don't have a message and I may as well be off the air."

There is only one message and that is the message that God wants spoken.

The apostle Paul said:

Galatians 1

10  For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

(Paul had a very unpopular message to speak.  His message was that you did not have to be circumcised for salvation is through faith in Jesus.  Imagine speaking this to the Jews at the time Paul lived on this earth.)

***

Isaiah the prophet spoke about the people who wanted to stop the prophet from speaking the message that was from God:

Isaiah 30

9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD:

10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:  11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.

12 Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon: 13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.

14 And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit.

15 For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.

They despised the word God sent to them and they wanted another word.

But "rest" and quietness and confidence is in that word sent by God and in choosing to go in HIS way as we live on this present earth, for we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth and it is not our kingdom but is only temporary for us.

II Peter 3:13   Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

***

We speak what we believe to be from God for that is the message that does the work of God.

I've had many messages which I have spoken since 1980.  The message changes according to the season by the will of God.

1980's and most of the 1990's ... The messages God had me speak concerned taking thoughts captive, guidance from God, following God by HIS Spirit, righteousness and prosperity from God.

2000's ,,, Antichrist in the churches

Now ... The great tribulation that is coming and the return of Jesus where the righteous are removed from this present earth before the end.

Of course there are many other messages to try to turn people from sins and destructive ways of life which I am shown by God.

But we always speak that message which we believe God has given us at that exact point in time.  And often that message must be repeated.

Philippians 3:1   Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.
