πŸ’₯ When no one mentions God.

Comments by Joan Boney:

After watching 5 days of various telecast of "Israel at war,"  on CNN,  it came to my mind that in all the people interviewed who were Israelis, I had not heard the word "God" mentioned at all.  I was shocked when this came to my mind.

And people call this "the holy land?"

(How can this be when they don't recognize Jesus as being the Messiah or mention the God who created the heaven and earth?")

Then I heard 2 people interviewed on separate days and they each mentioned "God".  Each of these 2 people were Palestinians! who also deny Jesus and even call their god by the name Allah.

Almost nothing in religions makes any sense at all by the Holy Bible!

Cling to what Jesus said:

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by ME.

Jesus is "The Word".

By "The Word" we come to God.  and only by "The Word".

Here is a recent map of Israel.  (from CNN)

This is a very good map of Israel and the surrounding nations.

(Notice the city of Ashdod:  Remember how it was the city of Dagon, god of the Philistines.  Now the city of Ashdod is back in Israel!)

I Samuel 5

1 And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it from Ebenezer unto Ashdod.

2 When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon.

3 And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again.

4 And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him.

5 Therefore neither the priests of Dagon, nor any that come into Dagon's house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod unto this day.

6 But the hand of the LORD was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and HE destroyed them, and smote them with emerods, even Ashdod and the coasts thereof.

7 And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for HIS hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.
