The flesh of the human and devils work together to cause people to be restless.
I Timothy 6
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
(They that follow after money, taking jobs for money without really liking the job, are what most people experience at some point in their lives. I have never taken a job for money. I took the job because I was interested in the work, but never because it paid more money, but most people do seek after that money. And the one time I did take a job teaching fifth grade and found I really hated that job, at the end of the year, I went to the college to take a battery of tests to see what I should be doing ... this was before I was born again. And I found a job teaching elementary string class in a public school, then high school orchestra, then advanced college degrees. But I never knew what it was to desire money and take a job because of money. Most people do this from time to time in their lives. Yet I had to earn a living but I always followed my interest in seeking jobs.)
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
