I often pray this over myself.
We brush against the world and its people and problems and sometimes wrong attitudes corrupt our hearts. TV news can do this also. Or even TV entertainment.
I'm certain God can and will cleanse my heart and give me the right Spirit! So I often ask God to do this for me.
As the things of this world grow worse in the end times, we need to turn to God even more both for ourselves and for others.
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: (Heb. 10:24)
