One of the problems of the end time will be a lack of understanding in people. They will grow to be worse and worse and they will twist the stories they speak and it will be increasingly difficult to determine what is really true in that which they speak.
For so many of them will belong to the devil and there is no truth in the children of devils.
Jesus says:
John 8
42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love ME: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but HE sent me.
43 Why do ye not understand MY speech? even because ye cannot hear MY word.
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Corruption breeds corruption: So many individuals will delight in being around corrupt people and so they will be corrupt, lying for personal gain, having no integrity.
During the telecasts after the Uvalde killings, a mother of one of the victims said: "I hope those police who stood there allowing that shooter to kill children ... I hope they will not be able to sleep at night."
I thought: "If they have any integrity they will not be able to sleep at night because of their failure to act properly." But the problem is they likely have no integrity and therefore will twist the story and try to explain their lack of action away ... like their father the devil twists stories.
(Don't worry: God will judge them.)
Romans 19:12 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection (homosexual and lesbian: Romans 1:26-27), trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness (attending church), but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
Through God we endure in spite of them.
