💥 Hearing people speak about Jesus and hearing Jesus HIMSELF speak to you.

 

Jesus spoke to a Samaritan woman at the well.  She went and told her friends she had met the Messiah who told her all that she had done.  Later they heard directly from Jesus.

John 4

39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on HIM for the saying of the woman, which testified, HE told me all that ever I did.

40 So when the Samaritans were come unto HIM, they besought HIM that he would tarry with them: and HE abode there two days.

41 And many more believed because of HIS own word;

42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard HIM ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

Today, Jesus speaks directly to HIS chosen by HIS Holy Spirit who lives in each one who believes HIS word.

Ephesians 1:13 In WHOM ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in WHOM also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Hebrews 1

1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by HIS Son, whom HE hath appointed heir of all things, by WHOM also HE made the worlds;

I Corinthians 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?  

I Corinthians 6:19-20  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

2 Corinthians 13:5  Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

The work of the Holy Spirit that is in us:

John 14:26  Jesus said:  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

27 Peace I leave with you, MY peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  

We see the things of this world and that which they do, but our kingdom is not of this world just as Jesus' kingdom is not of this world.  We have HIS peace as we wait for Jesus.  Therefore: Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  

John 16:13   Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

14 HE shall glorify ME: for HE shall receive of Mine, and shall shew it unto you.

The Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus for HE is the Spirit of Jesus and speaks to us things of Jesus.

The people of the world speak of this world but we, who are of God. speak the things of God.

I John 4

4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world.

5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

6 We are of God: HE that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

I John 2

15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
