This world speaks many things. But we read the Bible and God opens our eyes to see the truth and we follow what God says, being renewed by the Word from God.
The world frets over many things: climate control which they think they can change; bodily exercise which they think extends their lives; the foods they eat and the foods they don't eat by which they think they can extend their years on this earth.
But when we read the Bible, we see many things opposite to that which they, of this world, spoke to us.
I want to build my house on that which God says, for I know it never fails.

Climate control:
Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
Matthew 24:29-31 Jesus says: Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Length of life: Proverbs 3:1-2 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

They say: "All die." I Corinthians 15:49-52 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
God gives us a new heavenly body when HE raises us from this earth.

Some in this world say: "All things work together for good."
But what the Bible says is this:
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.
