Jn. 14 ... Jesus said: I (The Word) am the way, the truth, and the life:no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me (The Word).
Each morning, we take our Bibles (or this blog) and search for "The Word" that God would speak to us personally.
It is like we have a field and treasure is buried in that field and we go out and dig for that treasure.

The Word is the way for us to go as we live on this earth.
The Word is truth.
And the Word is life for us.
Jesus said: Mt. 7 ... 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not:for it was founded upon a rock.
Are we really doing these sayings.
Jesus said: Mt. 6 ... 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow:for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
First, daily we seek the kingdom of God through prayer, Bible reading, meditating on scripture and doing that instruction.
Second, we deliberately set ourselves to take no thought for tomorrow. This often takes prayer to do it, committing those things of tomorrow to God in prayer and asking HIM for HIS help. And it may also take focusing on scripture given by Holy Spirit and by deliberately setting ourselves to believe what God says in that scripture.
It is definitely a labor to enter into HIS rest (Heb. 3 & 4) ... but it is the only way to God and faith in God ... We think on The Word, we set ourselves to believe The Word, we do The Word ... and we continue doing The Word ... and we do this daily.
Here are promises attached to this:
Joshua 1 ... 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Psalm 1 ... 1 Blessed is the man
that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in the way of sinners,
nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord;
and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;
his leaf also shall not wither;
and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
This is the way for each of us as we live on this earth.
And we must not stop doing this! It is life for us. We do this daily and we focus on putting specific scripture to work in our lives, such as the scripture, "Take no thought for tomorrow ..." instead seek God today!
Let nothing and no one pull you off this course ... it is life to us.
