Instructions for us from the apostle Paul

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Paul says ...

I Thess. 5 ... 11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

edify: strengthen

- make to become stronger
- enable or encourage one another to act more vigorously or effectively in the Lord

==========

I Cor. 14:3 ...  3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.

We, when we speak, should speak to edify, to exhort and to comfort also.

exhort:  to urge earnestly by advice, warning

comfort:  to give hope which is built on a sure foundation

==========

I Thess. 5 ... 14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all.

Different actions cited concerning what the person is:

For the unruly:  warn them

For the feebleminded:  comfort them  (feebleminded are those persons unable to make intelligent decisions or judgments / those lacking in common sense or in clear direction)

For the weak:  support them

Be patient to all ...
