1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord,
praise the name of the Lord.
2 Blessed be the name of the Lord
from this time forth and for evermore.
3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same
the Lord 's name is to be praised.
4 The Lord is high above all nations,
and his glory above the heavens.
5 Who is like unto the Lord our God,
who dwelleth on high,
6 Who humbleth himself to behold
the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust,
and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
8 That he may set him with princes,
even with the princes of his people.
9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house,
and to be a joyful mother of children.
Praise ye the Lord.

6 (God) Who humbleth Himself to behold
the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
Jesus said:
my Father is greater than I. Jn. 14:28
Can we comprehend even a small portion of God ...? Certainly we can when the thunder roars in the sky and we see lightening and the hail falls from the sky! Who cannot be afraid then?
Revelation 6 ... 12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
